The Town Fire Department is located on the north end of the Town’s beautiful green (park) housed within a large two and half-story building which also houses the Town offices and Police Department. This building was once the Town’s High School. The membership of is an on call/ volunteer. Training and fire prevention awareness have been top priorities of the department. We as a department respond to an average of 100 runs per year. These responds to fires and other emergencies within the town and to mutual aid calls as needed by neighboring towns.

The Fair Haven Fire Departments meets at the Fire Station on Tuesday evenings at 6:30 pm. The First Tuesday are set aside for Officer Meetings. Second and Third Tuesdays are for Training nights and the Fourth Tuesday is for monthly meetings. Stop in if you have any questions or concerns regarding the Fire Department.

Reminder to all Towns people the SPRING MONTHS have arrived so be safe in your clean-up from the winter. Remember burn permits are needed and Fair Haven has Burn Ordinance. Also remember to change your batteries in smoke and CO detector, we have seen quite a few “bad” batteries or old detectors. Any detectors between 5 and 10 years old should be upgraded.

We are always looking for new members to be added to this list. If you have time, please pick up an application. We also have a Junior/Cadet fire membership available. See a member for details.
